Slots clubs are a relatively new marketing program that allows players to earn credits for slot and video poker machine play and use those credits to earn a whole range of comps. The programs vary from casino to casino, but almost all of them give you a chance to earn comps for buffets and meals, rooms, shows, and sometimes, even cash rebates.

This innovative program has greatly added to the popularity of the slots and given players more ways to win. Best of all, there is no charge to become a member.

The concept is simple. Once enrolled as a member, the casinos will issue a card with your name and card number. These cards get inserted into the machines prior to play and automatically track your betting action. The more action you give the casino, the greater the benefits you enjoy just for playing the machines. What could be better?

Each casino has their own slots program, some with greater benefits than others. But all are worth joining if you plan to play slots at various casinos, especially if you plan to play a lot of slots.

Joining a Slots Club

To become a member, first you have to register. The Slots Host is usually located in the rear of the casinos, but if you can't find the Slots Host desk, ask any of the personnel to point you in the right direction.

The application process for joining a Slots Club is simple and will take but a few minutes to fill out. The casino will require a valid m to complete the application. The first thing that happens when you sign up for a slots club is that you'll get issued a card. this purpose. The cards readers are typically found in the front of the machines, though they may be on the sides.

Casinos that really value you as a customer will let you know up front how much action you need to generate for their awards programs to kick in. Some casinos though, keep their rewards programs, for whatever reasons, a mystery. Typically, and again this varies completely from one program to another, approximately one hours' worth of action at the $1 slots or 2-3 hours at the $0.25 machines will kick in the first tier of bonuses and comps.

Faster players may reach these levels a little faster, slower players may take a little longer. The critical element the casinos are looking for is the amount of action and how much money is wagered into the machines, not how long you happen to be sitting in front of a machine warming a chair. The casinos want action. You give it to them, and they'll kick back in with their incentives.

The more coins per hour you play (not how much you win or lose), the faster you will accumulate the points required by a casino to reach activation levels.
